How to get here

From Newcastle Airport by rail, take the Metro (green line) direct from the airport to Tyne Dock, Chichester, or South Shields.

From Newcastle Central Station by rail, take the Metro (greenline) as above.

From Newcastle by road, take the A167M, A184, and A194 signposted South Shields.

From the South by road, take either the A1M, A194M, A194, or the A19 and follow signs for South Shields.

From the North by road, take either the A1 or the A19, follow signs for the Tyne Tunnel and then follow signs for South Shields.

From the West by road, take the A69 to Newcastle, then A1 south, A1231 (A194M), A194, following signs for South Shields.
